How To Use Our GCI Paging Service
How to retrieve voice and/or numeric messages.
(You may return to the main menu at anytime by pressing the "*" key.)
From a telephone, dial your pager number.
When you hear your personal greating or the default greating, press the "*" key.
You will then be asked to enter your 4 digit pass code. (If you have not changed your pass code, then the default pass code is 1234. It is highly recommended that you change your pass code as soon as possible.)
The following options are then available for you to choose from. - 1. Listen to pages (Voice or numeric) - 3. Delete message - 5. Keep message - 7. Repeat message
When you are finished, simply hang up the phone.
How to change your pass code.
(You may return to the main menu at anytime by pressing the "*" key.)
From a telephone, dial your pager number.
When you hear your personal greating or the default greating, press the "*" key.
You will then be asked to enter your 4 digit pass code. (If you have not changed your pass code, then the default pass code is 1234. It is highly recommended that you change your pass code as soon as possible.)
To change your pass code, press the "8" key.
You will then be asked to enter a new 4 digit pass code.
You will then be asked to confirm your new 4 digit pass code by entering it again.
After you have confirmed your new pass code, you will be redirected to the main menu. You can choose another option or simply hang up the phone.
How to change your personal greating.
(You may return to the main menu at anytime by pressing the "*" key.)
From a telephone, dial your pager number.
When you hear your personal greating or the default greating, press the "*" key.
You will then be asked to enter your 4 digit pass code. (If you have not changed your pass code, then the default pass code is 1234. It is highly recommended that you change your pass code as soon as possible.)
To change your personal greating, press the "9" key.
You will then be asked to record a new personal greating. When you have finished recording your new personal greating, press any key.
You will then hear what you have just recorded. You will be give the following options: - 1. Update or Save your greating - 2. Re-Record your greating - * to cancel
If you have choosen to re-record your greating, then follow the 2 previouse steps above. If you updated or saved your new greating, you will then be redirected to the main menu. You can then choose another option or simply hang up the phone.
